In order to bring high-quality reading to rural children in China and enable them to transcend poverty and parentage, NeuShen Pharmaceuticals participated in the public welfare project "Every Class has a Book Corner" held by "DANDANGZHE Action Education Foundation". So far, the four book corners we donated have been completed at Jiangshi School, Xiyan Town, Chengbu County, Hunan Province.

Childhood is such an important and unique growth stage in life, and during that growth period, children will need special spiritual nutrition. Preparing suitable and abundant books for children based on their own growth needs is not only the caring and understanding for children, but also the basic respect to their rights. However, choosing the right books for children is not easy. First of all, books at book corner which accompany children day and night need to have the ability to arouse their interest in reading, stimulate their curiosity as well as make them dive into and share with their peers. While matching children's mental development, the books also need to be partly challenging so as to help children in expanding their knowledge, enlightening their wisdom and building a sound personality. In addition, due to the limited space at the Book Corner, we will give priority to recommended books that could stand out as time goes by and leave a deep impression on children's growth, including classic literature of ancient and modern China and foreign countries, as well as excellent children's books that are loved by teachers and students during the long-term practice of reading promotion.

We always believe that textbooks are not the only world for rural children. They can read freely and extensively, accumulate and blossom in their childhood, so as to master the lifelong ability of self-learning, which might enable them to pursue their dreams and grow into their best selves.
